Mr. Matthew Crowder is entering his 12th year as director of student activities at Patrick Henry High School. Mr. Crowder is currently in his 26th year serving Hanover County and Patrick Henry High School. He is a proud alumni of the Patrick Henry class of 1992. Mr. Crowder previously served as a family life education teacher, driver’s education instructor, assistant football coach, and head softball coach at Patrick Henry.
Mr. Crowder earned a bachelor of science degree in health, physical education, and driver’s education from Bridgewater College in 1996. He is a member of the Virginia Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (VIAAA). He is the current Region 4B awards chair and serves on several VHSL committees including the Alignment Committee and the Out of Season Practice Ad Hoc Committee.
Mr. Crowder resides in Beaverdam with his wife, Jennifer, and daughter, Madilyn.
