Mrs. Jackson has been dedicated to the field of education since 2003, when she began her career as a school counselor. With a strong passion for student support and leadership, she has served as a School Counseling Director since 2019. Mrs. Jackson holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and a master’s degree in Counseling for the College of William & Mary. Early in her career, she worked as a substance abuse counselor for adolescents in Williamsburg, Virginia, before relocating to the Richmond area to begin her family.
She and her husband are proud parents of two sons who attend schools within the Patrick Henry School Zone.
Mrs. Jackson enjoys crafting and spending quality time with her family. She finds great fulfillment in serving the very community she calls home, and is deeply committed to helping students and families thrive both inside and outside of the classroom.
