Comfort Zone Camp

Comfort Zone Camp is a nonprofit 501(c)3 bereavement camp that transforms the lives of children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or legal guardian. The free camps include confidence-building programs and age-based support groups that break the emotional isolation grief often brings. Comfort Zone Camps are offered to children ages 7 to 17 and are held year-round across the Country. (804) 377-3430

Parks & Recreation

The Hanover Parks and Recreation Department offers over 1,500 acres of parkland throughout Hanover County, with beautiful trails, historic landmarks, athletics fields, relaxing shelters, and safe, accessible playgrounds. The department boasts a wide range of yearlong events and programs for all ages and interests.
