The 2018–2019 school year has been off to a great start at Patrick Henry (PH) with many new changes and exceptional leadership. There are big things ahead in the future for PH, and the Student Council Association (SCA) has been working hard to make this year the best yet. The president of SCA, Olivia Taylor, has high hopes to "unify the school and bring everyone together." The student council has plenty of patriot pride and a strong vision for success to lead and inspire PH. This year, "SCA will best represent the student body by being spontaneous, fun, encouraging, and outgoing in bringing our school together to celebrate what it means to be a PHamily," Taylor commented.

Throughout the year, SCA plans and hosts a variety of events and activities to promote school spirit and encourage students to get involved in their community. The SCA planned one of the school’s most anticipated events of the year, Homecoming, and it was PHabulous! SCA is also planning several fundraisers for PH to "make pep rallies more interactive and fun," said Taylor. With a lot to look forward to in the year ahead, students can rest assured knowing PH has a great student council representing them.
