Randall Stokes

Mr. Stokes is entering his sixth year as assistant principal of Patrick Henry High School. This year will be his 17th year in Hanover County Public Schools and 40th year overall in education.

From 2002 to 2015, Mr. Stokes was an assistant principal at Atlee High School. From 2015–2016 he was principal at George Washington High of Danville, 2016–2017 he became principal of J.M. Langston-Alternative Schoo, and later the associate principal of Westwood Middle. 

Mr. Stokes began his career as a teacher in Richmond Public Schools and in Henrico County Public Schools. In Henrico, he served as a teacher of social studies, an assistant track coach, head wrestling coach, and an assistant football coach. He eventually became the head football coach at Highland Springs High School.

Mr. Stokes holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from James Madison University and a master’s degree in secondary education from University of Virginia in administration and supervision.

Mr. Stokes currently resides in Glen Allen with his wife, Susan. They have a daughter, Morgan, and two sons, Nicholas and Miles. He enjoys all music and college and professional football.
