Chris Martinez

Mr. Martinez is entering his sixth year as the proud principal of Patrick Henry High School. This year will be his 16th year in Hanover County Public Schools and 19th year overall in education.

From 2015 to 2018, Mr. Martinez was an assistant principal at Atlee High School. From 2013 to 2015, he worked as a teacher, Math Department chair, and assistant activities director at Atlee High School and from 2008 to 2013, he was a teacher and football coach at Mechanicsville High School.

Mr. Martinez began his career as a teacher in Henrico County Public Schools as a teacher and football coach at Highland Springs High School.

Mr. Martinez holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Virginia Commonwealth University, a master’s degree in secondary education from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a post master’s certificate in administration and supervision from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Mr. Martinez currently resides in Glen Allen with his wife, Nadia, daughter, Alayah, and two sons, Adrian and Avery.
